About

We are a group of passionate students that spend their every Saturday (and not only) on creating our plays. We write our script ourselves, usually basing it on William Shakespeare's work. Then we rehearse over and over again, adding newer and newer elements to our play. We prepare for competitions: International Shakespearian Meetings in Gdańsk and Drama Jamboree in Bydgoszcz. Additionally we perform wherever we are invited, as well as in our school for our friends and teachers - this is the most demanding audience with the highest expectations.

We perform in English language only. Our plays contain massive amount of culture-related elements, quotes and gags from famous movies etc. Our actors also dance and sing on the stage.

Apart from actors, members of MC Company include stage managers - people bearing huge responsibility of preparing and maintaining the stage, photographers - people who make sure we have something to look at and think about past performances, choreographers - they prepare actors for the performance as far as dance is concerned, and music directors - they are responsible for our soundtrack.

MC Company in its current form have existed since 2005.
